Well hello…

Thanks for visiting my site, though ‘site’ is an overstatement, if not a downright misnomer!  This is a holding page. To be honest, it’s been a holding page for some time because very luckily since I set up my business in 2015, I’ve been too busy working on behalf of my clients to develop this site. But now you’re here.  It would be impolite not to tell you a little about what I do. Simply and succinctly…

Strategy. Engagement. Change.

I’ve been helping individuals and organisations think strategically and engage meaningfully for over twenty years and, since qualifying as a coach in 2011, I also support them to consider and manage change. I completed a Masters in Work and Organisational Behaviour at DCU in 2017, with a particular emphasis on change. I do a lot of research and stakeholder facilitation work and really enjoy using a simple but hugely effective method called World Café.

Since setting out on my own, I’m proud to have worked with a range of clients across the public, private, not for profit and cultural sectors including most recently The Arts Council, Fingal County Council, Wicklow County Council, Branar, Creative Ireland, The Stinging Fly, Irish Writers Centre, The Ark, Irish Architecture Foundation, Fáilte Ireland, Limerick School of Art and Design, Dublin City University, Independent Broadcasters of Ireland as well as with a number of professional services firms.  I also coach individuals supporting them to consider and advance their careers.

Right now, I am working with leading communications consultant Annette Nugent concluding the Arts and Culture strategy for Cork City Council. I have just started a programme of work with cultural guru Roberta Doyle (UK) and another of Ireland’s finest communications consultants, Sinead McPhillips, to support the Arts Council in developing its final Making Great Art Work three-year plan (2023-2025). I am also delighted to be supporting Branar to evaluate their pilot Creative Production Services initiative, Meitheal.

In brief - People. Ideas. That’s what I’m interested in.  And, luckily, that’s what I do. I help people to think courageously and to forge a way forward with  clarity and coherence for impact.

So… if you’d like to have a chat about developing a strategy, engaging your stakeholders, facilitating a workshop, undertaking review or research, coaching or business development please contact me at janice@janicemcadam.ie

I look forward to hearing from you.
